Nature and pictures - pretty ones at that!

Recently staying at Flúðir, weather wonderful, stil, bright, rained Saturday night.
Sunday morning we had these guests. Left a Ptarmigan hen and right her young. There were more but they did not use the hospitality!
This one shot through a window, as were the next two.

Cool as a cucumber! And mummy resting!



This one kept an eye out for the big ones, but went for the bread anyway.



This is a small clearwater brook going into the dirty Thjorsa at Urriðafoss.

 And this is Seljalandsfoss from the side. Water from the heavens?

From Thingvellir. On a clear day!

This is little Strokkur at Geysir, literally about to burst his bubble!

Gulfoss and a strange opening in the mist / spray...

Somewhere under the rainbow is Gull (foss)

And these guys should mind their step!
