I miss Corbridge

Well Blightey in general.
There is an old Icelandic saying that runs more or less about one being able to sit down and travel in one's mind. Its actually a poem by Jónas Hallgrímsson and called Saving (money) - It sais:
I have developed the habit,
very thankfully
to sit in one place
and yet to travel.

Its not Google translate
 This is:
I have come up on it
- All thanks Verdal -
to sit in the same place,
and still be 'traveling.

Not bad really!  Wondering who Verdal is?
This is the Icelandic original.
  • Eg er kominn upp á það
  • - allra þakka verðast –
  • að sitja kyrr í sama stað,
  • og samt að vera’ að ferðast
But anyroads - this the computer can help me with.
Not as warm - but perhaps as rainy!
